The thing that actually matters here: AP Chemistry is a rehearsal for college general chemistry. Scoring the free-response section, not just answering it

A student who writes the right number with no supporting argument routinely scores below one whose arithmetic slipped but whose logic is laid out. A realistic timeline to May

Starting late is still worth it. Students who begin in March cannot cover everything, so the plan changes shape: identify the units where marks are cheapest to recover, drill exam technique, and stop trying to be complete.
